Unlike the standard iRig Mic Studio, this microphone comes equipped with an XLR socket, setting you up with a compact studio microphone that be directly hooked up to most mixers and audio interfaces. The unidirectional polar pattern increases the sensitivity of the iRig Mic Studio XLR and is able to capture every detail and nuance whether recording vocals or acoustic instruments.

Record Everywhere

Since the body diameter sits at just 45mm, and it's no bigger than the average smartphone, this little mic has been designed for maximum portability, especially when teamed up with the iRig Pro, Pro Duo, or the iRig Pre audio interfaces to complete a smartphone, laptop or tablet-based mobile studio. One of the many perks of pairing it with one of these interfaces, is that they are all able to feed the iRig Mic Studio XLR with the phantom power it needs in order to function.
